    LGBTQ+ support group

    Starting 7 July, join Mind Connect for a weekly programme of supportive, person-centred sessions focused on mental health and wellbeing for the LGBTQIA+ community in south Liverpool.

    Each session offers a safe space to talk, connect, and learn practical strategies for managing mental health. Topics will include:

    • Emotional regulation
    • Anxiety management
    • Confidence building
    • Identity and values
    • Self-esteem and more

    Sessions will run from The Market Place Social, each Monday 2pm-3pm.

    Open, accessible, and welcoming to all within the LGBTQIA+ community

    Do you provide support for a friend, family member or neighbour, or know someone who does? Local Solutions’ Carers Centre offers support and advice to unpaid carers and will be based in The Market Place Social each Tuesday, 1.30pm-3pm.

    Women: rediscover your mojo with us!

    We are working with Crosby Training to deliver an empowering women course, all about remotivating, rebuilding confidence and reenergising.

    The course takes place at Reach, in Parklands, Speke and includes health and wellbeing, improving mental health and happiness, combating loneliness and isolation, money and debt management, and conquering stress and anxiety. 

    It’s a nine-session, three-week course, starting 9 July and finishing 25 July, running on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

    At the end of the programme participants will have a celebration day and be given a £200 high street voucher package.

    Can you dig it? Join our horticulture course and learn to grow your own veg

    Join us at Grow Speke each Thursday at 1pm, when Myerscough College delivers its Level 1 City and Guilds Diploma in Practical Horticulture Skills. This course provides the skills and knowledge you need to learn how to grow and cultivate from seed to plate.

    Myerscough's friendly tutors will support you through a mix of hands-on and theory sessions, as you develop your skills and knowledge.

    Join us for our school’s out summer event!

    We’re celebrating the start of the summer holidays with a free, fun-filled day for families on Tuesday 29 July, from 11am–2pm at the Parklands Building, Speke.

    Enjoy face painting, a reptile farm, VR gaming, and a live cooking demo showing how to make healthy, affordable meals.

    Local community organisations will also be there sharing info on summer activities and support for families.
